If we are open, ring us first. Say what you are seeing and we will tell you whether to come now.

Ring straight away, do not wait, if your animal
·is struggling to breathe, or their gums have gone pale or blue
·has been hit by a car, even if they seem fine
·is trying to be sick or to pass urine and nothing is coming (especially a male cat)
·has a swollen, hard belly and is retching (especially a deep-chested dog)
·has eaten chocolate, grapes, raisins, xylitol, slug pellets, antifreeze or any human medicine
·is having a fit that lasts more than a couple of minutes, or fits repeatedly
·is bleeding heavily, or collapsed and cannot get up
On the way in: keep them warm and quiet, do not give food, water or any human medicine, and bring anything they may have eaten, packaging and all.
